nose strips

In this post I will show you to make your own acne strips. Here is how you do it:

Take 1 tsp. gelatin and 1 1/2 tsp. water. mix together and microwave for 30 sec. When you take it out it should be a little like slime. Use an old makeup brush to brush it on your nose or chin. Wait 10-15 min. when all dry, peel it off.

Hair masks

In this post I will be highlighting FRUIT hair masks!

Here are my two favorites:

Strawberry hair mask for oily hair– take 1/4 cup of strawberries and blend them together.( or mash them.) When smooth, push through a sieve. Pat on hair, then massage in. Rinse off, and enjoy your oil free hair!

Avocado,honey, and olive oil mask for dry, flaky scalps. Promotes fast growing hair!– Mash 1 avocado, 1 Tbsp. Honey, and 1 Tbsp olive oil till smooth. When a smooth paste massage into hair. After letting sit, rinse and shampoo as usual!

sugar wax

Have you heard of Sugar Wax? Its an EASY all natural alternative to shaving! Sure it hurts a LITTLE, but trust me, the results are amazing! Here it is:

1 Cup of sugar you can use raw, brown, or granulated.

1 Tbsp. Lemon juice

1 Tbsp. Water ( you will need an extra Tbsp for testing if done)

In a sauce pan, heat over med.- high heat all the ingredients. Mix occasionally. When the mixture starts to bubble and turn a golden-brown, take a small drop and place it in a cup of cold water. If the little ball feels soft and caramel like to you, take off heat and pour into a glass jar or heat resistant plastic container. Once cooled it should have a consistency of SOFT caramel.( well a little softer than that actually) To use, push in downward motions on to your leg. When taking off, tear it upward. you can reuse the batch up to 5 times. When reusing heat in microwave for 30 seconds.

Sugar Scrubs

This post is all about sugar scrubs. Sugar Scrubs promote healthy,glowing, moisturized skin. The best sugar to use is raw cane sugar because it is the best exfoliant, but really you can use any sugar. It is best to use it only once a week.

Here are the oils you can use: Coconut, olive, rice bran, and grapeseed.

Some additives are:  essential oil, citrus zest, lemon juice, and exstracts.

Mix all together and enjoy                           Measurements: 1/4 cup sugar

1/8 cup oil

1 Tbsp. additive
